McMaster’s Bags of Promise chapter was founded in 2025 with the goal of bringing students together to support youth experiencing homelessness in the Hamilton community. As a student-led chapter, we aim to turn student involvement into meaningful, hands-on service while raising awareness and supporting the Bags of Promise mission.

Our Community
Our chapter focuses on supporting youth experiencing homelessness in the Hamilton community. We chose to work with local community organizations because of their direct connection to youth who need support and their understanding of the needs within Hamilton. Through our bag drives and future service initiatives, we hope to provide both practical resources and a reminder that the community cares.
